WW1 Fovant Badges Flight Experience

Fovant Valley just west of Salisbury, at the birthplace of military flying, was a vast training camp in the First World War. Countless thousands of young men trained there before travelling to France to serve at the front. Many did not return. But some left their mark in the sadly evocative Fovant Badges that they carved into the chalky hillside above Fovant. There they remain.

The GoFly Fovant Badges experience take you up in a Cherokee Warrior from the historic airfield of Old Sarum to fly down the Fovant valley and see the Fovant Badges from the air. You’ll never look at them from the ground again in the same way.
