Night Flying
A great addition to your flying experiences, flying after sunset will mean you can explore further and joy the lit landscape beneath you.
A night rating allows you, the pilot to fly at night exercising visual flight rules. Any pilot who wishes to fly at night using instrument flight rules (IFR) will also require an instrument rating.
If students hold both a single-engine piston aeroplane (land) and a TMG class rating, they may complete the requirements in either class or both classes.
If you wish to apply for the night rating at the same time as the PPL. You must have completed the night rating course as an additional 5 hour course to the PPL.
